So I'm armed with my OCT and my Phyto. I really debated long and hard about even getting a relaxer. My hair is manageable, thicker and I'm happy... UNTIL... I go out somewhere warm, humid, or stuffy and my hair grows into what I like to call the "Dianna Ross"... PUFFY as all get out. So I'm going on a trip to a tropical locale next week and don't want to feel like Dianna at all while I'm there. LOL!

I bought the Phyto when I first joined LHCF a few weeks ago. Now I'm on the OCT challenge. How would I use them together? Should I? I'm just taking it to my stylist and having him do it. Should I still use the CT and the creme rinse after the relaxer and neutralizer? Somebody help me, I don't want to come out baldheaded...

Thanks ladies!!

Honey...I don't know a lot about the tech aspects, but from my relaxer and OCT experience I would say keep each system separate. Relax your hair and stick with products which are designed together...then come in with the OCT system, if you choose. I'm really not a big fan of cross pollination...:lachen:

I know there are tons of ladies here with expert opinions who will weigh in on this thread.

Good Luck

When doing your touch-up - STICK TO THE INSTRUCTIONS and use those products in the box! start using OCT on your next wash or 2. Especially since this is your 1st time using Phyto, you want to see how your hair reacts to it.

Just a warning, the first time I used Phyto, I had my usual hairdresser and it didn't relax my hair completly

Thanks guys...but I guess I'm kind of confused. I never only used the stuff that came with the relaxer. This is my first "purchased relaxer"... I'm not putting it in.. I'm taking it to the stylist. When I previously got Affirm relaxers; the stylist relaxes...asst washes with neutralizer and what not and then she washes with my shampoo and conditioner. And under the dryer with conditioner; rinse. Some I'm trying to see if I should just use the creme rinse as the conditioner? Shampoo should be applied the regular way?... Maybe I'll just use the shampoo and then my ojon conditioner like regular...
