NYC Dominican Salons That Base Scalp..

Does anyone know of any Dominican salons that base the scalp before relaxing the hair. When observing the hairdressers at the various places that I go to for a wash & set, I've never seen any base the client's scalp.
I know that they are not the only hairdressers guilty of this.

However, if you know of any that base before relaxing, please let me know. Thanks.

Would they not base people's scalp if the people asked them?

I have been only been to Max's (which seems to be a sweat shop chain in NYC and NJ now--meaning that one person relaxing, one washing, one rolling, one blow drying, etc... ) and Joly's in the BX and I don't recall them using a base. Now when I go I would bring my own and do my own scalp to get every nook and cranny so I have no issues. But it never hurts to ask, since they are doing you a service.
