Not too long ago I posted about getting a perm and the fact that my edges burned really badly, but not the rest of my head. After this ***** permed my hair she spritzed the s*!t out of it b/c according to her she had to keep my edges in place. (I mean has she ever heard of gel or mouse?) So anyway, my hair is in the same updo but I am noticing that my edges are waving up. First of all, I thought that the spritz was supposed to keep my edges straight! Now I am a little worried that if I do have any hair when I take it down from this updo, its going to be wavy (and knowing my hair, it will make a quick progression to naps). Can someone please take this hair hex off of me?

Awww girl...I'm sorry to hear about that.
I had a hair dresser who used to spray alcohol-based products on my hair too and I would be like, What the heezy?! That junk burns like salt in a wound, and I really had to just demand that she stop.

Is it possible that the waves are a result of underprocessing??

Maybe you could put a lil aloe vera gelly on it to sooth the irritation. :ohwell:

it probably is the result of underprocessing which makes me mad b/c with the amount of time that she left that mess on my head I should never need a perm again!
