How did you bleach your hair? I am so ignorant about bleaching and color (except Bigen Oriental Black ).

i used the 20 volume lifter and the BW 2 powder lightener both by clairol professional, mixed in a plastic tupperware and used a comb to apply to my hair until it started lifting to the colour i wanted (my sis's natural brownish gold hair colour), eventually i'll put a rinse but i'm too lazy and i want to keep moisture and protein in there to keep it healthy.
