HI ladies,

I decided to try something different this wash instead of my usually roller set! I often get tired of sitting under that dryer for the 2 hours it takes to dry my hair...so what did i do you ask

I decided to try some heated rollers! I washed and blow dryed my hair then I put in the heated roller...at first I thought the curls looked great!

But then within an hour my hair was flat as a pancake!

Does anyone use these things? and if so do you get good results????

I've had the same experience as you. Both with my relaxed hair (when I had it) and with my braid extensions (when I used to curl them all the way). Very disappointing indeed!

Ladies,

I am sorry that this method did not work for you. I do this a lot and achieve pretty good results. However, I air dry my hair first with Keracare Silken Seal. I blow dry (with ion dryer) for a couple of minutes to remove all of the moisture. And then I moisturize with a little oil and then set with the Remington hot rollers. My curls usually last for a week.

I have been trying to set my hair and sit under the dryer. But, I have been achieving disappointing results. I will try one more time before I give up.

Good Luck,

MissB

HI Miss B..

funny you mention Remington hot rollers becuase that is the brand I used...you know I was thinking that maybe I needed a little something to keep the curls in place like setting or wrap lotion. I was thinking I should have wrapped my hair then hot rolled it that way the wrap lotion might have kept the curls longer. Oh well I returned the item to the store this afternoon and now i am about to sit under the dryer and get my usual curls back.

I think it works great. I don't use it for long lasting curls though. I use it for when I need curls in a hurry for a short time.

These seem to work better on caucasian hair than on our hair. I think Caruso's are pretty good. (but not for frequent use)
