Non Water-based products for Edges?

Hey I currently use Profectiv for my edges, but sometimes it can make the hair revert a bit. And I think I'm going to less frequent washes where I'll need to style to maintain a bit longer.

Any suggestions? Grease doesn't really do it for me. Didn't really want to do a gel? TIA
