how about mixing a water based moisturizer with an oil? Ive gotten great results by mixing my elasta QP Recovery with a light oil each time I moisturize. It works really well.

oh yeah, most hair polishes/glossers claim to moisturize as well, but I only use these alone when wearing my hair flat ironed.

You could use butters like shea butter or leave-in conditioners where you can seal in the moisture with oil.

I remember hairlove started a thread where she said water-based moisturises left her hair feeling dry I think.
