SO - I don't wear my hair down much anymore, but with my improved technique and products it comes out perfectly now. I just hate to have it spoiled by that telltale feeling of a strand or two catching on my shirt, or seat, or anything else. So I started thinking...what could I use to make my hair so slippery, that it wouldn't snag at all?
First I thought of serum - but I didn't want to weigh my hair down - I actually like the 70's shampoo commercial thing I got goin on.
So today I flipped my head upside down and sprayed just the bottom layer of my nape with oil sheen. I stopped using it as a rule which I started using more natural oils, but it literally coats your hair, so I thought, maybe it's keep my nape from snagging and breaking by making it SO slippery that it just slides off of everything...
and it works!! It's been hours since my last snag. I won't use oil sheen on my whole head, but if it keeps breakage at bay so I can wear my hair down worry free I'm all for it!
