I have decided not to get another shampoo (for now) and was wondering what do i start with on wash day? if im doing protein treatment does that come first? then DC after? or Should i start with an ACV?

what do you no pooers do?

I am also trying out my Roux Porousity Control tomorrow  Hope it lives up to all the raves

When I cowash I get into the shower and completely soak my hair and massage my scalp with my fingers. Then I take a handful of a cheapie conditioner (Suave or Dove usually) and use it the same way I would shampoo, working gently through the length of my hair with water. Sometimes I add just a few drops of shampoo to the handful of conditoner.

Then I rinse the conditoner out and use my "good" conditoner or hot oil treatment, or light protien.

I only deep conditon or use heavy protien treatments after I have shampooed.
I shampoo once a week and cowash about three times a week.

So far this is working well for my hair.

On days that I cowash I apply slightly less leave in and I go a little easier on the butter or oil also.

I follow the CG routine.. I CW everyday.. but I only scalp wash once a week.. I usually use Suave or VO5.. and then I "condition" with Elucence MB or Jessicurl's Too Shea..

ETA: I also CW with DevaCurl's No Poo.. and I use Low Poo like once a month..or once every 3 weeks...

Try different things till you hit on the routine that works for you. For example, through experimenting I found that a DT with the protein conditioner on dry hair, followed by a CO wash, then DT with a moisturizing conditioner works great for me. Good luck and let us know how your first CO works out for you.

well my hair feels alot better, i was way overdue for a protein treatment. I think i need to do these more often, maybe once a week or every 2 weeks. Next time I will try the PT first as you suggested MissBiss. Thanks

Just out of curiousity: what conditioner did you use for the CO?
Does anyone else have any recommendations?

Vo5 hydrator and Herbal Essences Replenisher conditioners are great co washes.

I like the VO5 Kiwi Clarifying Conditioner for CO washes, followed by my regular conditioner. It really does clean my hair.

i used VO5 blueberries and cream to CO wash, but i also have DDTA and Pantene Winter rescue in rotation for now
