I gave it a chance sister... it is good for wrapping the hair, and the texture is nice once you break through the gel, but that is the key BREAKING through the gel.
I remember when I was in middle school, my mom would put the gel on my hair and put it in a wrap and then sit me under the dryer until it was dry to the scalp (a process that took the better part of 1.5 hrs) and then I'd have to comb that mess out.
It hurt!! Getting that nice bone straight and soft look was not worth it.

I JUST HAD A BROWN GEL GHETTO PONY TAIL FLASH BACK!!!
'Member when you used to take that track for your weave pony tail and slick brown gel all over it and put them in rollers and stick it in the microwave to dry and it would come out all crunchy and bouncy?
Then you would use the brown gel and slick your hair in a ponytail high on your head and then wrap the track around that nub of hair you called a pony tail and then use bobby pins to hold it in place??
YA'LL MEMBER THAT?
OH WEE MAN! SHOCK YO DRAWS....I DO!!!
Okay now the rest of ya'll have to tell your brown gel memories!
I know we got some baby hair and toothbrush residents in the house!!!
