no more wrapping=thicker hair for me.......

While on a cruise last week, I used PrettyBrownEyes' criss cross wrapping method. Not only did I like the comb out effect, it was cute as a style with decorative pins/clips!!! This is a summertime keeper...

Wow! I can tell a big difference in just one month! It looks great! If you don't wrap your relaxed hair at night and rollers are uncomfortable, what can one do to protect their hair at night?

You're my hair care inspiration!

i am going to try the method prettybrowneyes uses.... it's a couple of threads up... if there is a will,,,there is a way.......NO MORE TRASH ENDS.....

Your hair is Lovely! I am truly inspired!
Your hair and your hair regimen exemplifies the fact that extreme
measures are not necessary to achieve long, healthy hair!

Sherry, your utterly awful hair pic looks fab to me gurlie but I can definitely see the difference. It's still beautiful though. Before you blink it will be back to where it was.

thank Q, Amber.......I have learned that "less is best" when it comes to hair care

SherryLove,

There is a definite difference I can see. I am SO glad you've decided to leave that wrapping alone!! So glad!

Despite your grumblings re your grandma and the trim, girl, she did a fantastic job. Oh, shades of my mom. It's right along the natural growth pattern of your hair....just what you want.

Your mane looks AWESOME!

Much Love,

Jade

I agree with you. I only wrap once in a while. What I have been doing is wearing my hair oulled loosely in a high ponytail and then wrapping it only before I take my shower. It's only wrapped for 1/2 hour at the most...which is about once a week. This works much better than the constant wrapping...which thinned my sides out also. Your hair is looking healthy and alot thicker on the ends.

sweetcocoa -- how do you style your hair before going to bed?????

Wow, SherryLove your hair is beautiful and growing so fast!
I am glad your hair is doing so much better without wrapping it.

Sherry, gurl I was thinking about ya last nite after I did a condition wash. I want to airdry my hair so bad but it always looks like a hot mess. Anywho, I condition washed with smooth and sleek and then put some aloe vera gel (called earth something) and added some oil to it then applied it to my hair. It felt really weird going on like the texture turned or something and I was really upset with myself prepared to do it over the next morning. So I put more oil and aloe on the ends only then parted it down the middle and made two princess leah knots on the sides, went to bed all pissed and stuff. The next morning, I took down my hair and whoa. It was soooo soft

! Frizzy but soft yanno! I applied alot near the hairline and that part is laying down flat because of the scarf but I'm pretty much happy with the way it turned out. Thanks for suggesting it. I'm siked now

I definitely agree. I was somewhat worried to even mention because I know alot of people wrap their hair. I wrap, occasionally, but it's something I do when I get my hair freshly relaxed. Otherwise than that, I don't wrap, I just put it in a ponytail...and my hair felt thicker afterwards,
