I posted a couple of days ago that the strands of my hair were comming out. No it was not shedding. I am about 12 weeks post and the situation became scarry.

I went to sally's and purchased the aphogee 2 step protein hair treatment. It minimized my breakage by 90%. WhoooHooo!!!!:grin::grin:

I must re-recommend this hair treatment. There have already been post about this subject. So I may be transitioning after all.!!!!:grin::grin:

I did the same thing you did last night... and I'm not sure if my breakage was minimize from the aphogee alone or if it was because this was the first time washing my hair after all my split ends have been chopped off but OMG, I combed, styled my hair into big twists thien combed again... NOTHING in my comb. I thought I was seeing things... or not.

I am going to follow up with the 2minute (not the 2step) Keratin conditioner. I'll have to figure out how to tell when to alternate between protein and conditioner but so far I am in love with my hair all over again. It's soooooo soft, almost 2 soft, my fro isn't even standing up.

Hurricane, were you able to comb from root to tip, afterwards? I already have Aphoghee at home, but have never used it for relaxer/texturizer stretches. Can you comb from root to end/tip afterwards? Or is it advisable to simply comb from the line of demarcation to the ends? :look:

I bought this stuff and I think it's time to pull it out. My hair was fine, but in the last few days I've notice some breakage and hair coming out. I also think I need a better comb

I'm glad you found something that worked to stop your breakage. I love aphogee and it helped me stop my hair from breaking all over the place.

I use it every 6 weeks to keep my hair in check.
