My hair was mid-back in the back and shoulder length in the front in December. However, It was longer on the right than the left. I had it trimmed EVENLY in December. I pressed it out last weekend, and it was uneven AGAIN! It looks so weird I can never wear it down. I'm sick of wearing my hair up, and I'm sick of having these major cuts because I'm striving for long even hair. What should do?

Many of us have hair that grows faster on one side of our heads or in sections of our heads. Cutting it won't help except for temporarily because that's how your hair is going to grow. I suggest finding or creating a style, perhaps a curly one, that will not show the discrepancy too much. A braid out may do that for you and still be a protective style.

My hair grows fast in the back..a little slower on the sides. My left side grows faster then the right. It can be annoying with the different lengths...but eventually your hair will catch up.

You read my mind, I was considering just wearing a braid out style vs. straight, until it becomes un-noticable.
TY!

Yeah, my hair grows slower in the back and faster on the sides. Therefore when it's all combed back it makes myhair look like I have some breakage in the middle. I too am tired of the cutting to even it up. For now, I'm just letting it be and hoping the back will pick up the pace.
