Am I The Only One Here Not Sticking To A Vitamin Regimen??? I Started Out Taking A Multivitamin Over The Summer, Now That's Out The Window! And My Growth Is Coming Along Just Fine! How About You?

I Just Decided To Keep Up A Good Hair Care Regimen... And So Far So Good With That. I Was Taking Vitamins For Overall Health And Nourishment....now I'm Done!!!

I used to take biotin, msm and all kinds of other vitamins. Nowadays I just take my regular prenatal(I want me a baby) and my c, b and e vitamins. Nothing else. I feel good, my hair hasn't stopped growing and I don't regret it. MsM used to give me headaches everyday and biotin made me very irritable. I drank a lot of water and took it for over 6 months and since I stopped, I feel fine.

I just got tired of taking all those pills everyday. I was taking a multi, a hair vitamin, biotin, and b5. I stopped taking them several months ago, and my hair seems to be growing just fine.

I took HF37 all year and I believe it really helped me reach my goal. I'm going to finish up the last of my supply, then I won't take them anymore. I can't wait to see what my hair does without the vitamins (although I'll switch to taking a regular One ADay multivitamin for overall health).

I'm still on the biotin and Viviscal twice daily. I won't reorder Viviscal when this last box is done. I'll do biotin and MSM twice daily instead.

Well I am still taking my vitamins, when I don't take them my hair does not grow as fast or as be as strong. But I when I reach my goal, I am looking to getting more liquid vitamins, instead of taking the tablets. Because I feel that they absorb better in the body. All the ladies who find that their hair grows just as fast without them. I am very pleased for you, but unfortunately I am not so lucky. Also I must say without your support, I would have given up my goal for long hair long ago. I have a problem of getting bored very easily, losing patience and getting up my goals.

I don't take any specific "hair" vitamins, mainly the ones I always took before learning about haircare. I tried biotin earlier in the year and MSM and stopped shortly afterward because of side effects (even though I drink a lot of water).

I stick to what works for the health of my body like vitamins b, c, iron, calcium and the food such as flaxseed oil, spirulina, sea vegetables, lots of water and a healthy diet. One exception might be the grapeseed extract I take which keeps the immune system very strong and assists in the beauty of hair.

Me taking vitamins this long is a miracle for me, at least I've been consistent with something positive this past year...Started in March,2004

I take vitamins for my health and not necessarily for my hair. Instead, I have been focusing on just taking care of my hair. I just taking started Biotin b/c I took off acrylics and my nails are paper thin. After my nails grow out I will discontinue the biotin. I take a multi for general health and EPO for my flow and PMS.

Ive never taken vitamins for hair growth (Ive taken a multi vitamin all my life for health), and my hair still grows fine, sure it may or may not grow faster with them, but I cant remember to take vitamins so I dont.

I will continue to take my dietary supplements until I have reached my hair goal. My hair is coming along nicely with the use of these supplements [GNC’s Ultra Hair Nourish & Evening Primrose Oil 1300]. When I reach my hair goal, I will just take a regular multi-vitamin for overall wellness.

I barely drink water because i hate it. I do know it helps. I take biotin., msm, flaxseed oil caplets and multivitamins. been taking all these for about a month. Will not drinking lots of water have any side effects??

Lovechic, you are not the only one. My hair grows anyway. Just stick to a healthy diet and it should be enough. I'll just take some vitamin C when I have a cold :)

I stopped taking biotin orally cuz now I dissolve it in hot water and add it to my shampoo & conditioner, along with cayenne pepper. My scalp is still stimulated and I still have the growth rate that I was getting when I was pill-popping.
