I read online it was discontinued in the OTC strength by the manufacturer.

Nizoral has not been discontinued. They moved their manufacturing facilty and had to wait for FDA approval. They're in the process of replenshing their stock for distribution to stores. You can call Johnson & Johnson for information at 1 (800) 962-5357.
