FYI everybody, after seeing Saloncabelo's youtube videos, I decided to try the nioxxin products that she recommends (I have Nioxxin #7, which despite it's description does work well with thin hair) and they are GREAT.

I notice a few weeks ago that I wasn't getting as much shed hair as I used to (and I don't have an issue with too much shed hair, my hair was already very health), and I realized that it coincided with my using this product. It cut the shedding down by at least a third, possibly even a half. It is expensive, so I only use it like every other or every few washes, but the benefits are still the same. Somehow this product is able to get the scalp squeaky clean without stripping the hair of all its moisture.

I definitely, definitely, definitely recommend it.

I was tempted to pick up the detangling spray she uses in her video when I visited the BSS this week. I passed b/c I'm trying to stick to my current stash. Thanks for the review.

My aunt used to work for Nioxin in ATL and they give the employees free product. I loved it! I used it when preggo and had absolutely NO shedding. This was when my hair was relaxed. You didn't need to use much either. I don't know if it would work on my hair now though, but if you are able to get a few samples, they are definitely worth a try. BTW, Nioxin is known for making a good growing environment for hair (cleaning the scalp).

I like their bliss leave in spray. I don't know if the promo is still on or not, but Ulta had Nioxin buy one get one free going on-great deal

I purchased the bliss. It does detangle very well. I have not tried the shampoo yet. I know she stated that you should use a moisturizing poo behind the #7.

I picked up the bliss thermal spray last night when I was in Ulta and put it back because I am trying to fight my inner PJ. Well I am going back tomorrow...lol

I used Nioxin#3 a couple of years ago and it did work but I am using more natural products now. I just started taking the Nioxin vitamins last week. I will try them for 6 months to see how they work on my hair.

I use the Nioxin for thinning hair every week or so. Just started using it, so we'll see how it goes... *fingers crossed*
