What are some essential oils that have a pleasant scent? I need something to add to my peppermint-rosemary-clary-sage-castor oil concoction. I'd like something that covers up some of the herbally smell of the above essential oils.

Thanks,

Tee

I've added Ylang Ylang to a lot of my hair potions. It has a very sweet, non-herby scent. I got a bunch from puritan.com during a "buy one get three free" sale.

Lavender isn't bad, and lemongrass smells heavenly. I like all citrus scents, including grapefruit. There's also Jasmine

. You could check out Cedarvale.com and Camden-Grey's web-sites; they have all kinds of goodies (essential oils) to browse through

Don't forget the EO blends. I like Ylang Ylang w/vanilla which are the EO in Aveda's Madagascar Aroma Diffuser Oil as well as Lavender and Ylang Ylang which is the blend in Palmolive Aroma Therapy dish liquid (a point of referance).

Bergamont is a nice scent for hair products, IMHO.

I love Lavender the best. I heard somewhere that men are attracted to Lavender and Ylang Ylang essential oils.
