Nexxus Keraphix

I just tried it and Wow i never seen my hair become so soft and happy /images/graemlins/clap.gif I tried to do a search because i know its been talked about before but i came up with nothing but how often am i supposed to use keraphix? I know its not supposed to be used in every wash. I dont want to over do it.

I have Keraphix, but only use it once a month, or if I notice any breakage.

I'm back to using it once a month and Emergencee once a month. Other weeks I either do a light protein (Elasta Breakage Control Serum) or a deep moisturizing conditioner (Humectress/Nacidit).

actually you can use it every wash (unless you wash everyday or something like that) i remember asking Tracy about that in another thread a while back, and she said it was perfectly fine. my hairdresser agrees. i combine keraphix w/ humectress and sit under the dryer for 20-30 minutes every 6-8 days and my hair's in the best shape ever!

thanks for the quick replies everyone. Oh im glad i can do that candibaby. I would like to use it every wash ( i was every 3 -4 days) I never seen my hair in so healthy. Its moisturized and bouncy. I never didnt try it with the humectress. I will try that later this week.

my stylist told me i could combine the two instead of doing them seperately because i always deep conditioned after using it anyway.. but i do see a little (good) difference in doing them together w/ heat.

i dont know about every 4 days.. but every week is okay.. and my bad in my above post, the thread was by Supergirl, not Tracy. Here's a link:

thanks alot candibaby! Imma read it right now. I never used to give my hair protien so i guess thats why i was so surprised at the results.I dunno why i didnt do it sooner. Oh well better late then never!!

I don't know what I have been doing letting these products collect dust. I put it on my hair, massaged for about 3 minutes then sat under the dryer for about 15-20 mins. I also left it in for probably another 15 mins (so I could scarf down some pizza /images/graemlins/blush.gif It's a good thing that I vowed to finish the rest of the products I have before I buy anymore. I mean I have the huge salon sized Therappe and Humectress so I have a lot to go through. It's a good thing I make my husband shampoo his locs with the stuff too. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
However, even if I don't use the shampoo I will definitely keep the conditioner mix in my regimen.</font>

Edited: OK, so I just took out my rollers from my roller set and my hair is definitely much softer. Now I did roller set with Nexxus Headdress and a little Motions CPR Hair lotion (I got a trial size from a convention). Again I don't know why I haven't been giving myself protein treatments before. /images/graemlins/wallbash.gif

I love Keraphix. I use it one week prior and one week after my relaxer. I always thought that it seemed moisturizing enough to use frequently. I must try that Keraphix-Humectress combo as I love both!

Actually it can be used with every shampoo. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yep, I use it every 4 days with the Botanoil Shampoo and my hair loves it. I even stopped surging because I dont think it's necessary right now. Keraphix seems to give the hair strength and moisture. I will continue to use it until my hair no longer responds to it.

I used to use this stuff in the early 90's. It was okay then and it's just okay now. I will not repurchase again as emergencee works far more superior than this product.

I use it everyweek. I sleep with it mixed w/ humectress and I wash it out in the morning.

Keraphix and Emergencee are two completely different products/types of products. Emergencee is also stronger so of course it is superior.

Yeah I know. Keraphix doesn't do anything for my hair as a light protein. It's nice it works for some though. I have moved on to better stuff that works for me.
