this product mixed with oil worked well when i was natural. Have any of you ladies airdried using headress?....and how does it work for you. thanx

I used to use this stuff last year (before I even thought about transitioning). It was okay, but you just have to try not to use too much. Also, it was a bit too perfume-y for my taste.

I agree i can't take the perfume scent, i was just wondering if it was worth revisiting again.

I've used it and I loved it. Between that and Rusk Sensories Smoother, I was in heaven. Then I found Giovanni Direct, and it was a wrap. It's been the best leave-in I've ever used!

Did headress help tame newgrowth?

I've been using Headress almost from the beginning of my hair journey on LHCF. I get the best results when I use it sparingly. For detangling my roots (especially towards the end of my stretch), the Biolage Matrix Daily Leave-in works even better, IMO.

Hmmmm I love nexxus (humectress, botanoil, therappe, keraphix) but the headdress did absolutely nothing for me. :perplexed

Headdress was one of the 1st products I purchased when I began my hair journey years ago. It's fine but I need to add oil to it because it can make the hair a bit dull...It's also better diluted w/ distilled water or a watery leave-in. I prefer Giovanni Direct Leave In as the other sistah mentioned. My cheap fave it NTM Silk Touch leave in.

It's pretty good. It's coneless which I really dig (for those conless phases I go through) and it does a decent job detangling. I got the recommendation from this board, when this used to be one of the 'it' items.

It makes my hair take longer to airdry because it keeps it ultra wet for some reason. And it doesn't allow my hair to airdry straight, I gave it to my mom. Personally I would email nexxus and ask for a sample, or ask the exchange board for a sample first.
