Do any of you use this? Nexxus recommends this for relaxed hair as a conditioner. The Nexxus site says:

* Moisturizes and increases sheen and pliability of ultra-dry, brittle hair.
* All natural blend of botanic oils replenishes natural lipids.
* Excellent pressing oil and hair dressing for curly and relaxed hair.
* Additive for enhanced performance during chemical services.
* Improves skin suppleness and moisture retention.
* Useful for eye make-up removal, and as a massage and bath oil.

I have this and I am not too crazy about it. My hair does not seem to absorb it unlike KeraCare Essential Oils..I use it as a back up when the KeraCare runs out.

Actually Nexxus recommends adding it to Humectress or Keraphix. :) On the bottle itself it has how to use it as a preshampoo treatment also.

1. Apply to wet hair then shampoo with Nexxus Botanoil shampoo.

I've used it as a pre-shampoo and I've used it on dry hair. It worked fine except when I used it on dry hair I was too heavy handed applying it.

Not sure if I would re-purchase. It's not bad and it isn't great. I haven't tried it mixed with my Humectress yet.

Hmm, I like the idea of using it as a pre-shampoo treatement. I can see it working with that. Thanks for the idea.

Hmmm...this is interesting. I have this oil, but I stopped using it & started using jojoba oil alone. I may try it as a pre-poo this weekend to get rid of the rest of it. I agree with SerenityBreeze. It seems to sit on top of my hair instead of infusing my hair.

I've added it to a Humectress/Keraphix mix, and it worked ok, but I liked adding EVOO to that mix better.

I'll give this pre-poo a go this weekend...results to come...

i bought this stuff yesterday cuz it was on clearance, did a CO with Suave Mango Peach (smells delicious!) and put it on my ends...my ends were very moisturized and smoothed.
