I'm almost out of my Nexus Humtress, which I love. Could Keracare provide me better results. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Denali,

For me the two do not compare. I use both(not at the same time) and they both react to my hair completely different. Almost like comparing apples to oranges.

That's just my experience though.

No comparison. Nothing leaves my hair as soft and manageable as Humecto and I tried the humectress several times. I couldn't get my comb thru my hair not ONCE when I used the humectress. I don't think it's made for my hair unfortunately. But it works wonders in my daughter's hair

, the comb just glides right thru it.

I like Humectress a lot better.
To the people who love Humecto..how do you use it?heat,no heat?ANd how long?

I am sorry I thought these were both moisturizing conditioners. Could someone please clarify the effects of Humecto. Does it have slip? Moisturizing?

Dena - I am positive that they are both moisturizing conditioners. But humecto has both of the requirements you asked for. Incredible slip and is SUPER MOISTURIZING. It leaves my hair soft and tangle-free.

Katie - The first time I used humecto, I used heat - 20-30 minutes. The next time, no heat - same time I liked it with no heat better.

I used Humecto a few years ago & I wasn't really impressed. I just started using Humectress & I absolutely love it! It has replaced LUST as my favorite conditioner.

humectress is only okay on my hair, but Humecto does wonders!!!! it really moisturizes well and provides lots f slip. I use mine with a heat cap for 20 mins.

None I hate them both. Besides being bothe expensive they did nothing for my hair. I bought a bottle of GPB and a jar of 10 en 1 and got better results. These were products thats all talk and no action in my opinion.

i agree with prettybrowneyes- these are two different animals.
with humectress i have to use the weight of the running water to detangle or use it as a leave in on damp hair.
with humecto it detangles but doesnt leave my hair as strong as humectress.

I think Humecto is better for slip, but Kenra moisturizing conditioner is just as good if not slightly better than Humceto for me.

I've used them both (a long time ago). The one that worked best for my hair (AND gave me some slip) was KeraCare Humecto. The Nexxus Humectress didn't do a thing for my hair.

Denali, you say you love Humectress...why not stick with it?If it aint broke...

But I know how it feels to have PJ tendencies acting up

Thanks for your posts! Katie, I'm trying to save some money! I usually apply Dudley's Hair Rebuilder (slip), then add Humetress for moisturizing.

This becoming costly! I need a conditioner with both.
