Hi everyone,

I just found this site a few days ago from a link from the relaxed haircare group. Right now my 4a hair is anything but long, but it use to be and I would like it to be again with your help. I'll be lurking for awhile as I read old threads.

You all are sooo nice. Thank you. And boy is this board busy!!!

I will be starting my new regime as soon as I have my next touch up in 2-4 weeks. Here is what I plan:

Daily (My hair and scalp are dry enough to take it
*Hair oil made from:
Castor oil
Jojoba
Rosemary oil

Wash and condition every 3-5 days
*Hot oil treatment made from:
Sweet almond oil
Olive oil
Lavender oil
*Wash with Creme of Nature shampoo with Jojoba oil added
*Condition with Humectress
*Final rinse with either Ensure or my mix of cider vinegar, nettles, neem and water (Keeps flakes at bay)
*Infusuim 23, Coconut oil on edges
*Roller set and wrap

Reconstructors as needed
*Motions CPR with sweet almond oil added for mild damage repair
*Emergencee followed by Humectress at 6 week point, first wash after relaxer, or for extreme damage repair
*Keraphix used the last wash before touch up

To tame the sheep (or new growth maintainence)
*Hair creme made from:
Shea butter
Coconut oil
Castor Oil
Jojoba
Rosemary oil

Relaxer
*Motions oil mild (I have 4a hair, but it was recommended to use mild for all hair types)
*Motions oil neutralizing shampoo
*Motions oil Silk Protein Conditioner
*LeKair Cholesterol to protect old growth and as a deep
conditioner

Other
*Silk Scarves
*Seamless Comb
*Biotin 600mcg
*Evening Primrose oil 1000
*GNC Solotron daily Vitamin
*Scalp massage
*Positive thinking

Current hair condition
*Repairing damage cause by overprocessing and protein (Motions CPR) abuse
*Very uneven. Length ranges from 13" to 3"

Goal
*To stop breakage
*To obtain one consistant lenght maybe a few inches below shoulder. My hair is too thick to go any longer than that and still be able to maintain it myself.
*To learn even more from this board!

Also, I did my first conditioner only washes this weekend and loved it. I will have to add that to my list.
