So I've always relaxed my hair with an ammonium thioglycolate relaxer (wave nuevo sp?)and I was wondering if I was the only one here who uses this type of relaxer and if there is any other ammonium thioglycolate relaxer brand besides wave neuvo(sp?)

You can do a search(google it) looking for thio-brands. Then look for reviews here of the specific brands.

Yea I know I just wanted some LHCF suggestions but I guess google is the only way ill get a answer lol thanks for the reply

maybe leisure curl? my friend's father was the founder of that company. are you looking to switch brands? if so, i would transition first. grow out your existing curly perm before you start using another chemical service.

Thanks and I don't actually have a curly perm I just use wave Nuevo relaxer (i don't do the other steps just the relaxer) because I was told that thio relaxers are gentler and less damaging and that's the only thio relaxer I could find.

it's still the same. it's the chemical, not so much the process. it is considered permanent wave, instead of a straight relaxer. you couldn't use any other type of relaxer system until that grows out first.

In that case ill just stick with Wave Nuevo lol.... Ive transitioned 3 times already i don't think I'm up to transition again. Thanks so much for the response
