Hello,

I"m currently wearing a ponytail as a protective style, but I'm wondering is rollersetting considered a protective style? In addition, I have read many views on MTG (oil/grease) from others. I've seen the product in the BS, but they have several, which one is being used? One more question from the Newbie. If MTG is used, can it be used with Surge 14, WGO and African's best Organics Shea Butter?

Yes it's a protective style. Alot of us use the MTG from Shapley's website. This is the website http://www.shapleys.com/. Many of us use it with other products, so it's fine. Just use what you think is best on your hair.
