Newbie from Barbados

Hi there. I've been hiding and reading your posts since last year July. I had to just come out and thank all of you for all the invaluable info I've gotten. I'm officially addicted. Even read past posts. My hair is now shoulder-length thanks to you. Unbelievable for me.

I've been using vitamins(Wow!!!)and CON-washing my hair. My hair that I thought was a punishment for something in a past life is now softer, thicker and longer. Still a LOT of work to do before I'm happy with it though, due to years of ignorance.

My deepest gratitude.

Yesterday, I had my hair in a loose french roll, and when my sister saw(the one with the 'good' hair) it she says "Is all that yours?" She didn't even wait for an answer. She grabs the pins out of my hair. In bajan- "It like it gettin' long!"

This is saying a lot because she's been trying to get me to cut my hair back down to three inches like before, because I obviously don't have that good,growing hair. I showed her.
