I've heard of it before. And I saw that hair in the BSS maybe a year or two ago but I don't know anybody who's actually done it. You might want to check the weave forum over at BHM.

I have heard of it and I have seen it in the beauty store, but I prefer sew-ins, that way my hair is protected underneath. Im sure that would be nice for some one who just wants more thickness or length, but it seems like it will be a lot of hair out. Your own hair, plus the tracks, and Im not sure how damaging it would be hanging by a few strands of hair. I would run....

I bought some but I never used it. The hair has a piece of ribbon sewed between the wefts and there are little rings on it. You are supposed to pull your hair through the rings with a tool that looks like a fish hook and then clamp the rings closed. The problem is the hair you pull through the ring is only about the width of a pen tip. After I bought it and looked at it I wasn't comfortable with using it. I think that the hair hanging down like that will damage it after a while because you don't really have enough hair in the rings to support the weight of the weft. Another reason why I didn't use it is you have to have someone else do it because you can't pull the hair through yourself with the little hook that comes with it. My sister tried and she couldn't do it so she gave up.

I considered doing a method similar to this where there were individual strands of hair attached on top of my hair with rings like those. I thought it could be damaging becuase the amount of my hair that was left out wouldn't be protected and i could see the damage coming. I also wondered about breakage from the ring being tight around my hair.... I would be heading in the opposite direction....

A girl where I work gets ez weft. Her hair always look nice, but I have never seen her hair without the weave. And she been wearing that same weave since I been there. (almost a year) Every 4 wks she takes it out, get her hair relaxed; and puts it back in. All in the same day.
