I am a newbie...when you do your bantu knots is your wet or dry? What kind of serum do you use on your hair, I loved the shine!

You can do it both wet or dry, but you will get different results. I prefer looser curls/waves so I do my knots with airdried hair slightly misted with some watery leave in and whatever moisturizers you want. I like to also use some serum. I don't think it really matters which. I use smooth and shine, but a lot of people rave about the neutrogena triple moisture one.
I cover my head with a scarf and go to bed. when I wake up I just finger comb the curls and voila.
Blueflower: Thanks, I can't wait for my hair to reach bra strap either. My hair is so fine and fragile that sometines it seems impossible, but I have faith that I'll get there.
