I finally have pics posted. Please check my signature for the link and tell me what you think. I will be posting more pics when my hair dries to get a better feel of what my natural texture is like. I am currently three months post relaxer.

Also, can someone tell me what my hair type is? I am so confused with that concept.

thats some good newgrowth you have going there
probably too early to tell but you are possibly a 4a or 4b depends if you hair spirals(a) or zigzags (b)

I believe you are a 4a also becasue you're crown looks like the middle of my hair. I'm 3b/c on the top of my head. You sure do have allot of new growth gurl

TY. I think that it will be easier to determine my hairtype after more growth. My hair spirals so that means I am in the A catagory. When I post progress pix it will be better to find out more.

Cinnabuns: Don't you mean that I am a 3b/c because my hair looks like your hair and you are a 3b/c? That is what I originally thought my hairtype was.

The 3c/4a thing is confusing to me too LadiCapri. I consider myself to be 4A. I've got 11 weeks of newgrowth and when I touch it I've got definite spirals so I know I'm not 4B. I guess it has something to do with the diameter of the spirals? And I'm not sure what the difference in diameter would be for 3A vs. 4A.

I know that 3A curls are larger and more defined than 4A. 4A really doesn't curl up. It has a "S" shape but not all the way spiral/corkscrew. I also think that the curlier the hair the more frizz in the hair. With that theory, 3s would have more frizz than 4s. I think now that I am a 3b.
