new pibbs 514, quick question..

I just received my pibbs hair dryer. the manual says that the light would go out when the desired temperature is reached. well I had it on for 10 minutes and the light did not go out. It did get hot though. Does anyone who has a 514 think I should be concerned? thank's ahead of time for your response.
