Hi Ladies
I'm so happy to have found this site.
I know a few women with long healthy hair but none of them are willing to to share what they do to take care of their hair.
erplexed I have been up, down, all around and had no idea what to do with my hair. As a child my mother kept my long hair pressed....Through my teens I went from braids to hair cuts, then braids then more hair cuts. I just didn't know what to do with my hair or how to take care of it. Almost 2 years ago I went to the shop to get a perm and my hair fell out in clumps, I had bald spots all over....When I woke up the next morning the hair that was left was on my pillow. After hours of crying I got the clippers and finished the job. My hair was slowly growing, but I didn't know how to take care of it. It got kind of long and someone suggested perming it...against my better judgement I did.
It didn't fall out it actually looked great...but it didn't last. I still didn't know how to take care of my hair. I had so much breakage. So again I cut it all off to start over and right now I'm trying to grow out my wave nouveau...Yes a wave nouveau, a friend told me it was low matience and would grow my hair. I hated it so I said no more. I want to be natural. It's been a few months since my last application. Since I've been lurking here, I vowed no more chemicals. By following some of the tips here I hope to stop the breakage and shedding...that's my first goal.
My second goal is to get my hair strong and heathly again. Third goal is to get from ear length to shoulder length....If you got this far Thanks for reading...Any advice and or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Peace and Blessings
