New hair texture

About two months ago after growing my buzz cut out and relaxing it I got bored and shaved it off again. Well now my hair is growing back and I have noticed that my texture is WAY different. My hair feels fine, and softer and is definitely wavy/curler.

Has anyone ever cut their hair when it was relaxed and noticed a change in new growth of the texture?
