I'm 5 weeks post relaxer and my new growth is growing like crazy. How can I get my edges and kitchen to lay down.

I tie my hair up every night in my satin or silk bonnet or scarf. So what am I doing wrong? I'm on the stretching out challenge so my next relaxer won't be until March 04. Can someone please help me?

Usually when I have to stretch out relaxers I put in braids for a couple of months. If that is not an option then try applying something on the roots to make them more supple and easier to smooth down. In the past I have used Mango Butter but currently I am using CD Healthy Hair Butter. I then use a hair net to tie around my entire hairline to smooth down. I have pics of the finished product in my album.

Thanks DSD Mango Butter and the CD Hair butter are on my to buy list for Jan.04

I absolutely love the HHB. It has hair slicking qualities! It also leaves your hair so very soft.

DSD can't wait to buy this stuff
