I used to LOOOOOOVE this stuff!!! Sally's used to carry it, I'm not sure if the whole line has been discontinued, because I haven't seen it in years (about 5 or so) but I just saw it on Paynes Beauty Supply.

Did anyone else use it?

I'm off to order some now! I hope this isn't a mistake and it is in stock *crossing fingers*

Is that the champagne colored stuff in the jar??? if so, I knew they were going to stop making it and stocked up....running out!

YES girl, that sounds like it! Oh no, maybe I should have ordered more than two jars??? I'm really afraid I'll get an email saying they no longer have it and haven't updated the site :-(

AND they have the Lusterizer Heat Protectant!!! I went through CANS of this stuff!

I you sure Sally's doesn't sell this anymore? I saw some of the New Era products there yesterday evening.

GREEEEEEEAAAAAAT COnditioner...probably the BEST I've ever used (if I didn't want to flat iron.....a little heavy, but I was trying to rinse w/ soft water, so ....)
But yes...they told me that they cut the price (got it for $4/jar) b/c no longer making it (or was that ordering it???)

What's the deal with this? The PJ in me is curious. . .not the real me. . .just the pj. . .

So, what's it do?

Brownsugga musta been typing while I was. Is it a leave-in or rinse out? Deep conditioner with a cap?

I'm in Los Angeles. I saw it at the Sally's on Jefferson near target (just in case you're in the area). They had a couple of items one of which was a spray container. A pump as opposed to aerosol. I was just looking around and that was one of the things I saw. I might have to stop by there again.

This hair situation is serious. It's a full time relationship.

I remember it was some good stuff! My hairdresser in NC used it...one of my friends had damaged hair, and she faithfully used this on her hair to doctor it back to health.

It was very moisturizing, left my hair soft...smelled good. I've been a hair care fanatic for quite a while now and generally took good care of my hair, so I never had major hair damage to see how well certain products work to "fix" a problem...but what I saw it do for my friends hair....its some good stuff :)

But then again...I never follow the directions on anything...I just slap it on my head...I should be BALD!!!

Hahah....Well, I'm glad I'm not alone on this one. I guess it's just me and you, lol. When did you last purchase it and how many jars did you grab? I'm so mad I missed the stock up! I haven't seen it at all while I've been back in NJ for almost 4 years now.

I'm so mad you guys are seeing this in the stores!!! If anyone is in the NY/NJ area and spots it, please let me know :)

OK, yall convinced me!!! I went to the BSS, I bought 2 (6oz) jars.....THIS STUFF IS OFF THE HOOK... it is the color of honey, it looks solid but it is very creamy once you put it in your hair....a little goes a long way atleast for me I now have about 5 inches of natural hair (stretched) I left it on while I showered for about 10 minutes.....my hair feels veery moisturized afterwards...nice little ringlets :) I'm letting my hair airdry now!!! I called the BSS and told him to order the 16oz jar :) THANKS SO1913 :)

I use to use the New Era reconstuctor conditioner when I was in college. That stuff was the bomb!!!! I have not seen it in any of the Sally's in Chicago. I have seen it once at one of the BSS. However, the bottle were all dirty and old looking like they had been sitting around since the early 80's. :nono:

Okay. . .

So it wasn't at Sally's. I hit two beauty supply stores on Sunday. Got em confused. So after staring down the shelves at Sally's I realized it was at location #2. I bought a tub of the conditioner (different texture and color. .. interesting) and two bottles of the Platinum Hair Reconstructor (one with shea butter the other without). The conditioner was 8.50 and at one point I had two tubs of it till I realized I was tripping. Let me try it and see if I like it. Then I can rec' it to my local hair buddy.

The reconstructors seem very similar to Emergencee in ingredients. I think I'll use it the Melodee recommended on my daughters hair and see what happens. I'm not experimenting at 14 bucks for 2 oz.

The sad thing is that I just cornrowed my hair and won't be out of them for at least a week or so. Just put them in Sunday night.

I have a serious pj problem. A visit that should have cost me 8.50 cost me like 50 bucks!!!! I'm getting concerned. . . .

Hmmm, it wasn't the champaigne or honey color? It's very dense and thick. what texture and color was the one you picked up?
