What length do you need to be at to achieve that style? It looks awesome!

It's great idea. I'm not sure if I could do that with my natural hair, but I'll give it a shot some time this week.

Thats really pretty...Watch when I do it, there's gonna be like 6 more steps because I'm so hair clumsy...lol

I guess you need a little length but my hair is shoulder length and it worked perfectly....even with my short edges that don't reach all the way to the ponytail!! I love this style...try it and let me know how it goes.

Supermodelsonya I definitely think you have plenty of hair to create this style!

Suchmagnificance I am also hair clumsy, but you really can't mess it up!! If you could, I would have done it by now.

BTW I used one of those snack sized ziploc bags with the ziploc portion of it cut off...it was perfect!

That was the first baggy bun I learned to do! It's cute and effective.

This is too cute and very awesome. I am definitely going to try this!!

I was browsing through Josell's Fotki and came across this photo tutorial on how to do a baggied bun. It looked interesting so I tried in on Sunday. It is my absolute favorite new protective style! Here's the link to her fotki photo album. Thanks Josell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance7:

I just added the pictures of my baggied bun to my fotki...check it out!

Thanks I love it too...I think I'm going to wear it all next week since I just got my ends clipped!

I cant find the fotki link but this protective style is many years old. Somehow people started naming it the southern tease bun. Same concept minus the bag. I'll try to find the link.
