I currently have a color in my hair and Im trying to grow it out, and im wondering if i should just cut it out and start fresh or just continuing to trim as i go along until the color is gone. My hair right now is probably 3 inches above my shoulders, and its been growing nicely for the past couple months.. any ideas?

It really depends on what you're most comfortable with. Maybe another option could be doing some kind of rinse to darken it? I don't know too much about dying though, maybe some else has more knowledge on this.

maybe you should trim as you go...

you can also do a clear (for shine) until all the color is gone.

why don't you color over the current color?

I dont really want to color over the color being that it's very flattering on my but the ends that the color are sort of brittle and dry. I think I'm gonna trim, Im sorta relecutant to just chop 3 inches of hair..

what's a clear? Never heard of it before
