I used the shampoo and mayo this past weekend for the first time. My hair was soft but I seriously need a touch up.

The shampoo made my hair feel clean and soft. Not stripped. The only thing is that it didn't seem to lather much.

I do like the mayo and I'm using it to replace ORS as a pre poo because you get 30 oz for 7.99-9.99 depending on where you buy it.

I tried the Hair Mayonaisse, I was not impressed it didn't do anything for me, it was an okay product. I didn't feel any tingle on my scalp either. I mixed it up with some coconut oil and ORS RP and now it's working better.

I finally used the olive oil hair mayo that I bought last month as the local BSS. It's okay. My hair is relaxed 4a and it goes on pretty smoothly and is a pretty good deep conditioner. It's just as good as any other hair mayo (to me the hair mayo's are pretty much all the same). it gave me a slight scalp tingle but not like what you get when using conditioners with peppermint or tea tree oil. IMO it's good for the price considering you can get a 30 oz jar for about 7.99 and ORS (which I do love) costs around 9.99 for 16 or 20 ounces. I won't buy another jar cause it doesn't blow me away but for me it's not a waste of money either. Give it a try, like the wise women on this board say, if you don't like it as a deep conditioner it can always be used as a pre-poo :).

TSU have you tried these yet. I think the Aveda has knocked it back on your try out list huh. lol

I tried the Virgin Oil before I tried the Mayo. The oil is nice and light, and it smells nice too. I really like that. As far as the mayo, it added moisture, but it left residue in my hair that made it stiff after my hair dried. Along with residue, it has these little green "leaves" in it that might not fully get rinsed from your hair. When I was detangling, it looked like I had big dandruff flakes, but it was those leaf bit things. The Mayo may be good for me as a pre-poo; I think I'll stick to that.

I use the Vitale Olive Oil Relaxer (regular) approx every 8 weeks. I like it, another plus is it only cost 6.99 a box. I haven't tried any of the other products yet.
