MSM is a form of sulpher, I haven't done my research on vitamins in a while, so I don't remember all of its benefits. I know it softens your newgrowth and it's good for joints. A lot of MSM is poor quality, one of the best MSM processing methods is called OptiMSM, it's one of the purest forms of MSM. You can just go to ebay and type in OptiMSM, and all kinds of good quality MSM will show up
I took it before I got preggo, and my newgrowth came out soooo soft and managable. My hips and knee pain also went away. Gymfreak posted a long informational thread on vitamins (including MSM) I tink it's called ''the vitamin guide'' I'll have to search and get back to ya

I stopped taking it orally because I'm really bad at taking pills everyday, however, I use the liquid in my spray bottles and have been still enjoying soft new growth that lays down nicely when tied down for over a year now. I'm a 4a/b texture and plan to stretch 18 weeks this stretch.
