I have relaxed hair.
I am wondering why going straight to moisturizing and sealing after t-shirt drying is not common practice?

What is your question about? I don't have relaxed hair, but I do moisturize and seal right after t-shirt drying.

I'm very relaxed (25 years now), I use a towel to blot dry.... is "t-shirt" drying better? I use a spray leave in and a little serum, but I don't heavy moisturize because I don't like greasy weighed down hair.

I know what you are trying to get at even though I am natural. Relaxed hair gets weighed down easier. That is why on wet hair relaxed ladies tend to use leave ins coupled with a serum versus a heavy moisturizer.

Exactly. If you notice most relaxed hair girls suggest a mist leave in or serum to help w d drying process and then go yo m+s. This added step is what I query as needed( or not required)

My leave-in is my moisturizer.

Would your moisturizer be waterbased or heavier? After t-shirt drying for 30 mins last night, I m+s with a shea butter whip (protein free) and sealed with combination of argan oil and evco. I air dryed and then wrapped in a silk cap. My hair feels v soft this morning compared to when I use my protein leave in/ moisturizer Cantu butter. I used no serums this time.

Thank you for clarifying. I suppose it's needed if leaving down and seeking more flow if blow drying/flat itoning? As I'm trying to grow my hair, I'm PS-ing all the time.
