So, you may be wondering why I'm posting so much all of a sudden. I'm in crisis. I've been tranistioning for a year, but honestly, since it started after a bad relaxer experience, I have not been a conscientious transitioner. I was just fed up with scissor happy stylists and missing my old stylist (who was rendered incapable of styling hair due to to a stroke) and refused to get my hair done anymore.
I also had a baby, and already had a two year old. Who has time to deep condition??? But what I did was put my hair up in a bun and leave it there for days at a time. No conditioning, no moisturizing, and washing was kind of, you know, whenever I get a chance. I would rollerset, but after that, basically do nothing. My hair grew, but the ends just fizzled. The elastic damage is quite evident. I finally cut my MBL to APL recently and am doing the braidouts for the summer.
I now have enough NG to see what my natural hair is doing...and I am clueless. I swear I've tried at lest 5 product lines in the last 3 weeks, and I'm not loving anything I'm seeing. My natural hair is dry--like DRY DRY. Like moisture-resistant.
I want to BC, but i'm scared!!! What us gone do???
