i want to use it instead of shampoo(cg-routine) so it has to be moisturizing but also not to heavy. do you know a good one that i can get in a normal drugstore and that is cheap?

Try Pantene Smooth & Sleek ($3-$5) or one the VO5 conditioners ($1 or less). Some people like the Suave conditioners ($1-$2).

Ya gotta try....St. Ive's Vanilla and Edelweiss Moisturizing Conditioner. I just picked up a bottle for $1.99 at the grocery store.

Jade21 recommended this and I tried it for a conditioner wash on Monday and was absolutely in love with my hair afterwards. It's good stuff!

Alberto V05 Kiwi and Lime Clarifying Conditioner. Works great...no buildup. And it's CHEAP! (I paid less than $2 bucks)

For a lighter, yet moisturizing conditioner in the St. Ives line, definitely check out the Lemongrass and Citrus, or the Ginger and Citrus. Both are about $2.50 for 20oz...smell is awesome, too

i can't get st. ives conditioners here in germany. they only have(at the military commissaries) pantene, suave and alberto vo5(and there are also some suave/vo5 conditioners that they don't have, too).

can you please tell me the ingridients of Alberto V05 Kiwi and Lime Clarifying Conditioner and St. Ive's Vanilla and Edelweiss Moisturizing Conditioner?
that would be great.

thx a lot,
mia

I really like the Pantene DMR. Nothing like it. I use it after every protein conditioner as a rinse out and softener/moisturizing conditioner.

I am thinking of incoporating condition washes into my regime. I plan to do them 2x a week and then do a regular wash. I was wondering what do I use the VO5 pina colada as? Is this considered a shampoo for the no poo method? It says moisturizing and I was wondering should I use a deep conditioner first then follow up with this or use this first then follow up with something like motions silk protein conditioner? I also saw the st. ives vanilla and edelweiss conditioner but I thought it was my pjism running rampade so I walked out the store without buying it.

If I do buy though how would I use it with the pina colada? They are both considered a moisturizing conditioner. Would I have to use one or the other and not both? Also can you use protein for a condition wash? Say I want to use henna and placenta and then follow up with a moisturizing conditioner would that be good or do I need to use a shampoo before hand or use a light conditioner as a shampoo? Sorry for all the questions but I swore I understood the curly girl method but I still have questions.

God bless you all.

I can't help you with the St.Ives product--I can't get those around here, either.
