Need a dryer that stands on the floor

For my big head. I roller-set my hair Saturday after doing a deep conditioner (with hair mayonnaise and coconut oil) overnight Friday. I used mostly magenta rollers, but I ran out of those (24) and had to use the gray ones (11) and I fudged on the gray ones by putting more hair than I wanted to because I was so tired of doing my hair. Needless to say, my head was QUITE big.

I remember someone mentioning some a few months ago. You know the kind they use at the salon? Can someone who purchased one chime in with the diameter? I'm pretty sure my head still won't fit underneath one, but one can only hope.

I WAS thinking about doing a roller-rod set but after this little experiment, I believe that I would need about a thousand of those rods and much more of my time than I'm willing to commit.

On the up side, I do like the way that it came out, but the roots in the area that I did last (crown) didn't straighten out like the rest because I cheated. Plus, no way was I going to fit as many rollers as I really needed in that space?

I know I should have started at the front but I didn't. Don't ask why.

I have a Pibbs 504 I bought from Sallys for soemwhere between $119-$159 ( I can't remember). As my hair has gotten longer it is too small. If I ever have money to waste or someone buys this one off of me I will get this one which has an extra large hood:

To me it is only 205.20 which depending on where you live is at most 5 months of wash n sets so you recoup your cost easily.

Oh man thanks honi I was looking for this thread a while back. If you are interested in ordering a pibbs I would go with the one with the speed setting because sometimes it can really whip your hair around in there I and I wish I could lower the air speed.

I had a really good hairdresser for several years, but she moved far away. I decided to try my stepsister's hair dresser/family friend.... big mistake. She gossips.... big time. The thing about her is that when she gossips she does not pay attention. She burned me with the curling iron several times.... not to mention gossiped about my sister and her friend in front of me. I stopped going to her after the 3rd time. Why the 3rd times…because I believe in giving chances…plus it was a good discount..But in the end it was not worth it.
