they don't mix.

I love my necklaces but lately my hair is getting snagged on the back chain part. This is a good sign because it means my hair is starting to inch down a little:grin: but I don't want to give up my necklaces!

Also, I get tired of wearing my hair up all the time...so I guess I won't wear necklaces when I wear my hair down anymore:cry:.

i noticed this when i wear certain types of necklaces. sometimes the metal parts that clasp together in the back will catch against some of my nape hairs, which are FINALLY starting to hit shoulder length.

but i'm still wearing my hair up all time, so it's only irritating once in a while when i wear my hair down, lol

I had this problem during my relaxed days. Back then I would take a piece of cloth fabric approx 3-4 inches long and 1/4 inch wide, and fold it in half sew that long side closed. When I would wear my hair down, I would slide my necklace through the ends of the handmade piece, so that once I fasten the necklace on, I can pull the handmade piece over the back clasp and chain. Thus no more hair pulling.

Now being on LHCF, I'd think it'd be more wise to use a satin or silk fabric to do the same trick.
