I got a sample of the AFrican Shea and the Virgin coconut oil. I love the way the coconut oil smells but the shea butter:eek:. Is the shea supposed to be stinky?

shea butter has a sort of smoky type smell to it. To me its a bit like wood thats been burned in a fire. Some people love it, some people dont. Its kind of an aquired thing;)

YES INDEED. Shea butter stinks. I know most folks swear by it, but in it's most natural state the smell is gross. I can't use it on my skin.. it makes me itch like an addict, but if it's blended with a fragrance or mixed in a conditioner for my hair, -I'm all for it.
