How do these two lines compare annnnddd I know sallys has aveda knock off. What products compare and how do yall like em?

Thanks!

in my opinion, there is no comparison. the originals blow the knockoffs off of the water.

i've tired the slickline conditioner, shampoo, & heat sprays, and the matrix originals, and the originals are so much better. however, if your budget doesn't allow for salon products, the slickline line is okay for the conditioner. splurge on the matrix shampoo and styling sprays.

also, sally's aveda knock off, aura, are all good products. i love the almond cherry bark revitalizing conditioner. but they simply cannot compare to aveda. they are not as moisturizing, not as gentle, and also, their fragrances, unlike aveda's, are not plant derived.

if you've got the $, splurge on Aveda! eBay has GREAT prices on aveda products, also try doing a google product search. i've found great discount merchandisers that way.

I haven't tried either of these lines, but I love every Matrix knockoff that I've tried so I'm sure the real thing must be out of this world.

I use the BJ's Matrix volumizing conditioner knockoff and it's so moisturizing.

I used the Suave versioin of the Matrix sleek conditioner to detangle my twist out and I am in love with it. It detangled my hair instantly and it feels great.

I can't imagine what the real stuff could do.

i was thinking about getting the gvp shampoo and the universal styling creme that sallys has of these matrix brands and i might just buy the original conditioner in that case.
