Has anyone tried to use wrap lotion on their hair to help fight shrinkage sometimes. I mean like wrap it as usual let it dry and fluff. Just thinking out loud.

You mean like a wet wrap? I used to do it but it's too difficult now since my hair is much longer. The last one I did was like a year ago and I said never again:nono:, lol. I had the hardest time and the results just weren't worth it. If I had less length I think I'd be fine though.

I can't imagine trying to wrap all my thickness:lachen:...:afro:..even if it was on wet hair. I think I would just deal with the shrinkage or just do cornrows/twist outs on wet hair to relieve some of the shrinkage.

I think the OP means using it as a leave-in.

And yes, I tried it. The results were okay. I didn't use gel with it so I just had shiny fluff.

It didn't do much to moisturize though I used a soap/alcohol free brand with herbs and what not in it.

Wasn't bad, but didn't trip my trigger and gave me no defintion.

I believe my review of the wrap foam I used is in my Sally's product review album if you're interested. The Sally's album or the drugstore album. I'd check the Sally's one first as it's the smaller of the two.

HTH :drunk:

Ok, I was confused since she said wrap it like usual let it dry and fluff.

Yeah I used to use wrap lotion as leave-in for wash n' go's all the time. I used to use Lottabody and some a couple other kinds. I liked the results. I may revisit this.

Hmmm...not sure how that would turn out...Ive never tried it but it seems to me that some other type of tension would have to be applied for it to yield results.

OP...if you try it...please let us know how it goes...it could be a technique waiting to be discovered.
