product for rollersettinng? I haven't tried this since being natural and all these rollersetting threads have piqued my curiousity. I've heard coconut oil is good, various leave ins, etc. Please tell me what is YOUR HG for rollersetting. I want to try this soon.thanks!

Yes please. I know Mwedzi just did one and her hair is swangin!

Come on ladies, fess up. We want to know, we want to know, we want to know.....

I used hairveda whipped cream and aphogee provitamin leave in, water in my stay bottle and a dab of grapeseed oil on my ends. I have also add serum a few times. But I found if I use to much product my hair was hard.

Lacio Lacio!!-I love it. cant do a rollerset with out this stuff.
and Chi silk infusion-i like this but not absolutely necessary.

Wouldnt coconut oil make the hair heavy and greasy?? On the other hand, I would understand why coconut would be used since when I apply it, it makes my hair BEHAVE and melt like butter( which is a good thing for dense fine hair) , id be concerned about the end results tho. Can someone chime in about coconut oil for rollersets??

Elasta QP Design Foam...I wish I took more pictures. When doing rollersets I use perm rods, to create another type of curly look. It gives a light hold, some shine and makes my curls soft.

I use Lacio Lacio sometimes as a leave-in
9 times out of 10 I will use Hairveda Whipped Cream before rollersetting

If I do use oil I will use either grapeseed oil or avosoya oil (Hairveda). In the summer I will use coconut oil. In the winter the coconut oil will freeze.

Casarela, it can make your hair greasy if you apply too much. That happened to me once last year. I will section my hair in 4 and lightly apply.

If my hair starts to dry up I use water. I won't use Infusium or any other type of setting lotion because it will make my hair crunchy.

HTH!
