Do you notice a difference as far as strengthening, less shedding, softness, etc.?

I want to order something online, but don't know what to get.

I am considering revisiting the dominican conditioners now that I'm natural. I really loved silicon mix when I was relaxed.

Interested in hearing what other naturals think about that.

Silicon Mix is old trusty for me but just used 10 in 1 last week for the first time and it worked well. I'll need to use it a few more times before deciding if I like it more than Silicon Mix. So far, Silicon is still my favorite.

So cones aren't a no-no for naturals? I don't know why I thought they were.
Glad to know because I miss my silicon mix.

i like lacio lacio for rollersets...helps make it bling-y...when i used to go to a dominican salon, they used salerm 21...I didnt like 10 in 1 when i tried it a long time ago.. Silicon mix is ok, but nothing to write home about

Silicon Mix is one of my permanent staples! It gets more raves than the other Dominican conditioners, so that's why I haven't tried the others. :lick:

Alter Ego Garlic treatment.

ETA: It's made in Italy, but I've only seen it sold in Dominican shops over here.

Silicon Mix has worked very very well for me...Ive tried 10 en 1 and really tried to like it but it didnt like me back. :( I recommend silicon mix for my fine but course haired people.

Silicon Mix (particularly Bambu) will always be my favorite! I also love Rolland UNA Moisturizing Masque but that technically is an Italian product commonly used in Dominican salons.

The best for curly hair 3c to 4c are 10 in one, silicone mix, boe crece pelo,

For hair breakage la plancha, la bomba, baba de caracol for dry scalp and dandruff

All excellent products that works for our hair texture

I have tried the crece pelo leave in and rinse out conditioners....i have also tried silicon mix bambu....love them ALL!:yep: i wanted to give la bomba a try :lick:....i think im gonna go back to using dominican products...but almost exclusively...now that im natural....bc when i was transitioning my newgrowth LOVED these products!

I LOVE this one - Boe Maravisus anticaida. It's supposed to stop shedding I don't necessarily know that it has had that effect, but it makes my hair feel strong and awesome. Sunflower oil is one of the top ingredients

I am also using baba de caracol deep treatment I'm happy with it but hate the smell I only do it before shampooing so I can get the smell out

Crece Pelo doesn't moisturize my hair as well as Silicon Mix, but it smells soooo much better that I don't even care. That's my fave DC right now!

There's a Dominican salon on 124 near Ronald Reagan PKWY...a lot of the salons sell products but idk if that one does or not. ( idk if that was helpful or not)

Any reviews for Baba De Caracol? I have it in my stash and I want to give it a try but I'm not sure if its a protein or moisture condish. Tia

There are 2 formulas. The old stuff has these ingredients
Deionized water, Behentrimonium methosulfate, Soalkylamidopropyl ethyl dimonium, Dipropileno glycol, Cetil alcohol, Cetyl ester, Cropure Earth-snail extract, Lactamide MEA, Hidrolized wheat protein, Fragrance, Metil Paraben; Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, FD & C.

Its AMAZING so much slip and makes your hair so soft. Its a good combination of moisture and protein, definitely very moisturizing

Unfortunately now its been replaced by one with mineral oil and cones. I havent tried it yet I'm mad that they changed something so perfect. I still want to try the new one though, if you have it let me know how it is
