I use a scarf, gel, a soft-bristled brush, and some water. That's how I get my waves with no frizz. I have my own way of getting defined curls and I doubt it would work for anyone else.

For myself, I know not the meaning of the words "frizz-free" as I haven't tried to be frizzless. But for my daughter, ORS makes this Loc & Twist Gel that is the bomb. I flat-twisted her hair and it stayed frizz-free for days unlike anything else that I had used on her before. Also using that made her twist-out frizz-free also.

For slicked down styles, damp hair tied down with a scarf does the trick. For loose, free styles, Curly Pudding and Curly Meringue are my friends. An alcohol free gel reduces frizzies too, but I don't like the way it dries hard and dull looking.
