How long after a professional blow out does your hair start reverting?

Do you use any products that could slow down the reversion?

I wanna get Aveda Anti-Humectant. I was thinking it could slow down the reversion time being it takes away moisture and frizz from your hair.

What do you think?

Depends on what I'm doing. If I sweat/workout etc, the roots will revert immediately. The rest of my hair will revert slightly throughout the day. I have never had sleek hair. Ever. My reversion starts as a body wave then by day 4 or 5 it has pure curled parts, like I set it on rollers and my roots are napped up again. :lachen:

Thxs for replying! :rosebud:

Seriously, that is what I am afraid of! (quick reverting)

If my hair could last 4-5 days after a professional salon blow out and flat iron, I'll be happy.

Then I can probably lay low with some cornrows for the next 3 weeks.

I'll figure it out.:wallbash: My 4b hair is something else!:nono::spinning::blush:

See that blowout in my avatar? Left the salon looking like that....

After an upsetting moment at the tire place an hour or so later, I started sweating in my hair and by the time I got home another hour or so later, my roots, still soft, started shrinking and my hair shrunk from below my ear to about a little below my eyeline.... Sigh....

Granted, my stylist blew dry and flat-ironed. It might have stayed longer if she had pressed it....

But I think it's realistic for me to recognize that my natural hair straightened is not going to act the exact same way as my relaxed hair did...especially on humid days....

^^^..Fuh-nee!

But also scary.

Damn! I am REALLY thinking about texlaxing right about now...
