Hey Girls!!!!

So - I wanted to share that I have used copius amounts of coconut oil on my hair in the last few days.....
I has been wonderful!!! OFF the Wall BLING!!!!

I don't really care about swing unless it is a special occasion, but - It seems that leaving ( rubbing ) in CO and waking up the next day produces lovely ( not so greasy) results!!!!
The other plus is that I have not felt the need to use a moisturizer.... no reversion!
:yep:

LOVE it!!! LOVE LHCF!!!! Thanks again PinkSkates for Great suggestions!

that's great! thanks for the info. that is a very, very nice shine...go 'head!!!

I have been using castor oil and i really like the softness of my hair after using it. where did u buy your coconut oil?

Yes I love coconut oil. It's one of the few oils that will penetrate the hair strand.

I tried slathering my hair in coconut oil when I saw Iris do it in her video. I mean she was really slathering it on after washing her hair. It was so shiny and she mentioned that it absorbs into her hair after awhile and it does.

I love the way it feels on freshly washed, damp hair!

Vitamin Shoppe. Since I use So much ( hair skin, DH is using it now...) I buy the GIANT containers!:yep:

I LOVE using coconut oil on my flat ironed hair. No need for a moisturizer which causes my hair to revert. Coconut oil is awesome.

:yep:I understand! It has solidified around these parts lately!!!!!

Mmmmm, I love coconut oil! I've never straightened my hair though. Anyone ever tried using coconut oil in place of pressing creme or hairdress?

This is very true:yep:. I used coconut oil as a pre-treatment on my nieces hair on her last wash and her hair was so soft and easy to handle! I will be adding coconut oil to her regimen--along with the Almond oil that we already use.

I have some in my cabinet now that I am going to use. My question is if I run hot water over the jar until it liquidfy's, if I wrap my hair will this cause it to solidify again?

I am also glad that I can use this as a moisturizer.

If you put generous amounts of coconut oil on your hair, plait it up and sleep in a processing cap....the results in the morning are FAB! Its like some kind of mini overnight steam session.

I love coconut oil too. I have bought a bottle like 2 weeks ago and have been using it ever since. I know what you mean about the hair not reverting. I was so shocked that my hair did not want to frizz up nor did it want to start getting curly again. I also love the way the oil penetrates on the hair. Most oils I used to apply used to just rub off after some time, or maybe the weather would just suck it out my hair.

COCONUT OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, yes. I love my coconut oil, and use it all the time. It's great on my natural hair, and my flat ironed hair. When I'm too lazy to deal with my unrefined shea butter, the coconut oil comes to my rescue. :) I really love my hair when I put a small amount of conditioner on my dry hair, follow with coconut oil, and put on my heating cap. Oh my goodness!:lachen:
